Calm & Ready

She is neither drowning nor fully on dry land—she has surfaced just enough to breathe. The water still surrounds her, but the light is reaching her now, and her face is lifted toward it. For a long time, I was the one underneath—lungs burning, heart pounding, convinced I was going to disappear into something I could not name. There were days I did not think I would find my way up, and nights I was too tired to keep trying. This image is about the in-between: the moment anxiety stops pulling you under and you find you can float. You are not entirely free of it, but you are no longer afraid of it either. That is the place where real healing starts—calm, ready, and finally able to look up. That is my reminder of where I was and of where many of you still are.

To whomever is reading this,

In every session and in every word we share, my deepest hope is that you find a place within yourself where anxiety no longer runs your life. "Calm & Ready" is not just a phrase to me—it is the life I want for every person who walks through this work.

I have spent years helping people — men and women, parents and partners, professionals and students — understand their anxiety, work through it, and slowly feel more at ease in their own lives.

If you are reading this in the middle of your own struggle, I want you to know one thing first: you are not alone. Everything I offer here — the courses, the groups, the private coaching — is built around that truth. Each one meets you at a different point in your journey. Each one is shaped to support the specific work you need to do.

The monthly coaching group is more than a meeting. It is a place where people who understand each other gather to share what they are learning, lean on each other on the hard days, and remind one another that recovery is possible. There is a particular kind of healing that only happens in a room of people who have been there.

The hardest and most beautiful part of this work, for me, is watching people leave. It means they are ready. My dream for every person I work with is that they reach the moment where they no longer need me — not because anxiety is gone forever, but because they have the tools, the steadiness, and the trust in themselves to meet whatever comes next. To live fully again. To say yes to things they used to say no to. To carry calmness and readiness with them, wherever life leads.

This journey is yours. I am here as a guide, a witness, and a steady presence beside you. But the victories are yours. The breakthroughs are yours. And the Calm & Ready life waiting for you on the other side is yours, too.

With care and unwavering support,

Lise Suzane

About Us:

About

I am a certified wellness professional, but the real story of how I got here started long before the certification.

I lived with anxiety myself. For years, I knew what it felt like to wake up at 2 a.m. with my heart racing for no reason, to scan my body for clues about what was wrong, to feel as if I was going crazy, to wonder if I was the only one who felt this way. I worked through it — slowly, gently, with a lot of trial and error — and along the way I learned something that has shaped everything I do since: anxiety is not a flaw to be fixed. It is a nervous system asking to be understood.

That understanding is what I bring to this work. For the past eleven years, I have helped people who experience Anxiety Disorders make sense of what is happening in their bodies — in a way that finally clicks. I have walked alongside men, women, parents, partners, professionals, and students. Each of them carries their own version of the same struggle. Each of them deserves the same gentle, patient, honest support.

What I bring to my clients is what I needed when I was on the other side of this work: calm, patience, and the kind of knowledge that comes from having lived it. I do not rush people. I do not promise miracles. I show up — daily, steadily, with care — and I help my clients find their own way back to themselves.

I created Calm & Ready to bring that work to more people than I could ever reach in private sessions alone. The courses, coaching groups, and resources here are all built on the same foundation: meeting you where you are, teaching you what your body is actually doing, and helping you build a steadier, calmer, more present life — one small step, one small stay at a time.

If you are here, you are already doing the brave thing. I am glad you found your way to this page. And I am here, whenever you are ready.
